I am going through a really tough breakup with my ex boyfriend of 3 years. I have gotten the run around from him for quite some time so I’m really struggling. I’m almost out of college and saw myself marrying this person soon. Plus ALL my other friends are engaged or in serious relationships. I could use some encouraging words or stories on other people’s love lives since right now I’m really feeling like no one is ever going to come along that I will love as much as my ex.

She is one of my best friends and she is the same age as me. But her brother is 2 grade levels about 3 years older. He promised that he would never date anyone in her grade but we really like eachother and she doesn’t know. Is it ok to date him? We are freshman he’s a junior. I really really like him and he’s super hot. We all hang out a lot and stuff and all swim on the same swim team and know eachother.
