Is intelligence and intellect key to a relationship? Is it important to be of the same intellect in a relationship or is it better for one person to be more intellectual than another? Also, what if one person is intellectual in one aspect of the word, such as street smarts, common knowledge, and "living" while the other is intellectual in the aspect of knowledge, logic, and literature?

Should you date a person that is less intelligent than you? Moreover, if you find someone that is physically attractive and has a wonderful personality, but doesn’t know the leader of our country, is that a candidate for a long-term relationship? Just wondering what people’s opinions are! =)
