This is more so towards parents who have daughters. What were your rules on dating? How old do you think is old enough for your daughter to start dating? I’m 16 and with my parents, dating is completely out of the question. Which I think is ridiculous because I’m responsible, I’m a good student, and I hardly ever give my parents any trouble what so ever. So what’s their deal? Any input would help, thanks.

If it was you guys, how would you feel about dating someone who already had a kid? She got pregnant when she was younger. She had the choice for an abortion but decided to have the baby so that another family who couldnt could raise her up. She gave up the baby because she felt like the baby deserved a better home. One with both parents. How do you guys feel about dating someone who’s been through this?

My parents got divorced a year ago. My mom has not wanted to date at all. but my dad has been dating the entire divorce. I have finally met my dads current, long term girl friend. I like her and shes really nice, but at the same time i dont know how to feel about this. its so weird to see him with someone other than my mom. and i feel disloyal to my mom as well. has anyone been in this situation? how’d you handle it?
